Wayne Crum, a proud supporter of the Men's Basketball team and Raiders basketball, has passed away at the age of 82.

Crum has been a familiar face off the court for the past 10 Shippensburg seasons and was present for the Men's team's 2017 PSAC Championship win.

Crum has been a supporter of the sport since he graduated from Frederick High School in 1959. He worked as a manager and assistant manager for several companies, as well as an auto salesman. However, Crum is most recognized for being one of the Raiders' biggest fans.

Crum married Patricia Elizabeth Baumgardner on October 7, 1962, and is survived by her and their three children: Gwendolyn Elizabeth Crum Eckenrode, Kenneth Eugene Crum (Wanda), and Randy Wayne Crum of Maryland.

"Family will receive friends at Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 E. Church St. on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 10 - 11 a.m., at which time the service will commence. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice," according to Crum's obituary.
